Unfreeze an Animal Tier List

This hub ranks Unfreeze an Animal targets by what they do to your session, not by thumbnail hype. Thaw Labs has not published a complete bestiary with cash numbers. Official media and live play still make the ladder obvious: cows teach the push, wolves are the first “I would steal that,” dragons are the block that starts fights. Use this page for the philosophy, animal rankings for the row-by-row list, and game pass tiers for Robux.

How we rank

Four questions, in order:

1. Does it print? After a finished thaw, does cash jump in a way you feel without a spreadsheet?
2. Can you finish it? A dragon you cannot hold through melt is an F for you, S for the stealer.
3. How public is the walk? Long slope pushes are steal ads. Short grass pushes are safe income.
4. Does the server care? If three people rotate to a silhouette, it is high tier whether or not you like the model.

We do not rank cosmetics. We do not invent mutation tables. When a changelog adds a new ice type, it enters as Unranked until we see it print and get contested.

• S — Contest on sight. Dragons and any ice the whole server path toward. Steal if you can finish the fire. Guard with a sitter. See how to steal and protect.
• A — Upgrade printers. Wolves and other mid silhouettes that replace cows without requiring a war. Good farmer targets on the farmer page.
• B — Session floor. Cows and other commons. Mandatory in the first twenty minutes. Disposable later.
• C — Skip unless empty. Ice that is far, slow, and uncontested for a reason. Do not take a scenic hike while your pit is idle.

Exact names live on the animal index. If you only remember one rule: never leave S-tier ice melting alone.

Passes change your personal tier list

+20 Speed makes distant A-tier realistic. 2x Melt Speed makes S-tier realistic for a solo. Without passes, shrink the list: B near the plot, A only with a teammate, S only if the owner already lost contact. That is not cowardice; it is make money fast.

How to use this hub in a run

Before you leave the fire, name the rank you will accept. If you say “only S” with zero printers, you will return broke. If you say “any ice” on a sweaty server, you will grief yourself. Pick a rank, hunt that rank, thaw it, then reassess. The beginner walkthrough is B-rank on purpose.

When official cash figures appear, this hub will swap philosophy for numbers. Until then, rank by fights started and HUD ticks felt. That is the meta the six-player servers are already playing.
