Unfreeze an Animal Controls

Unfreeze an Animal uses standard Roblox movement plus one high-stakes interact: E Unfreeze. If that prompt loses a fight with your camera or jump button, you donate the melt. This page is the device cheat sheet. Pair it with getting started for the loop and how to unfreeze for fire range.

PC

• WASD — move. Strafe while pushing so you steer the sphere instead of bouncing off it.
• Shift — sprint if the experience enables it. Sprint is for open ground, not for the last two studs of a melt.
• Space — jump. Jumping off the ice mid-push is how you lose contact on slopes. Save jumps for rocks, not for the pit.
• Mouse — camera. During a thaw, yaw toward the path, not into the flames.
• E — Unfreeze when the billboard appears. Stay in range. If the label vanishes, you moved.
• Click / hold — some hauls use a carry or backpack pickup. The official description credits the backpack to WinnersTakesAll; if a prompt offers pick up, use it on slopes where shoving fails.

Rebind only if you can still hit interact without looking at the keyboard. Steals happen in the second you glance down.

Mobile

• Left thumb: joystick.
• Right thumb: camera. Keep a little yaw available while you hold interact.
• Interact button: Unfreeze. Do not overlap it with jump.
• Auto-run is dangerous near other plots; you will drag a sphere onto the wrong fire.

Mobile farmers should sit closer to the hunt zone so the joystick travel is shorter. If you cannot hold interact and look around, you are not ready to thaw a dragon on a busy server. Thaw commons until the muscle memory exists.

Console

Use the default Roblox interact binding and raise camera sensitivity until you can 180 to a path without dropping the analog. Put jump on a face button you will not mash while holding interact. If the experience supports a backpack pickup on a trigger, practice it in a quiet server before you try a slope steal.

Push physics, not extra keys

Most of the skill is not a hotkey. Walk through the centre of the sphere, not the edge, so it tracks your heading. Approach your pit in a straight line. If the block starts orbiting you, stop, re-centre, then walk. Fighting a spinning ice cow in front of someone else’s lawn is how steal pages get written about you.

+20 Speed changes how far a mistake travels. Faster walks mean a missed steer dumps the sphere into a neighbour faster. Learn the default walk before you buy the pass. Notes on that purchase live with game pass tiers.

HUD you should not ignore

• Cash — whether the last thaw actually paid
• Plot occupancy — whether the pit is clear
• Other players’ names — six is a small room; know who is hovering
• Codes / shop icons — mapped on how to redeem

If the HUD has not finished loading, do not start a rare thaw. Prompts that appear late also disappear early.

Practice drill

In a quiet server: push a cow, park it, start E, then circle-strafe around the ring without dropping the prompt. When you can do that, you can watch for stealers. When you cannot, stay on protect your base theory until the fingers catch up.

Controls will not make a dragon spawn. They only decide whether the dragon you already found stays yours.

Backpack versus shove

The official description credits the backpack to WinnersTakesAll. Use it when a slope or a crowd makes a body-shove suicidal: pick up, walk the short grass line, drop on the ring, then start E. Do not backpack a cow across three enemy lawns “because you can.” Every extra second in transit is steal time. Practice the pick-up prompt on a common before you try it on a dragon, and keep how to unfreeze open so the drop lands in heat, not on decorative grass.
